Welcome to Cara’s Cleaning LLC (“we,” “us,” “our”). By accessing or using our website, booking services, or communicating with us online, you agree to these Terms of Use. Please read them carefully before using our site or services.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing our website or booking a cleaning service through Cara’s Cleaning LLC, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy.
If you do not agree, please do not use our website or services.
2. Services
Cara’s Cleaning LLC connects clients with trusted independent cleaning professionals (“Cleaners”) who provide residential and light commercial cleaning services within the Minneapolis area.
We facilitate booking, payment, and scheduling for your convenience, but we do not directly employ the Cleaners who perform the work. Each Cleaner operates as an independent contractor and is solely responsible for their own tools, work quality, insurance, and compliance with applicable laws.
All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue services at any time, with or without notice.
3. Booking and Payments
- Bookings can be made online through our website or directly with our team.
- Pricing is based on the scope of work, property size, and specific cleaning needs discussed at the time of booking.
- Payment is due at the time of service unless otherwise arranged in writing.
- Cancellations or reschedules must be made at least 24 hours in advance to avoid a cancellation fee.
If a Cleaner arrives and is unable to access your property, a cancellation fee may apply.
4. Backed by Our Satisfaction Guarantee
We back all of our cleanings with our Satisfaction Guarantee.
If you’re not completely satisfied with the end results, neither are we. We’ll make it right—or your money back.
All customer concerns, feedback, or claims should be directed to Cara’s Cleaning LLC, not the Cleaner. Our team will promptly review and coordinate with the Cleaner to resolve the issue in line with our satisfaction policy.
5. Independent Contractors
All Cleaners connected through Cara’s Cleaning LLC are independent contractors, not employees, partners, or agents of Cara’s Cleaning LLC.
Each Cleaner is solely responsible for:
- Their own actions, equipment, and conduct while providing cleaning services.
- Maintaining any required licenses, insurance, and compliance with local regulations.
Cara’s Cleaning LLC manages customer support and quality assurance but does not supervise or control how Cleaners perform their work.
By using our services, you acknowledge that we are a referral and coordination platform, not the direct provider of cleaning labor.
6. User Responsibilities
You agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete booking information.
- Ensure safe, reasonable access to your property for the Cleaner.
- Remove or secure valuables before your scheduled cleaning.
Cara’s Cleaning LLC and its Cleaners are not responsible for pre-existing damage or for items left unsecured.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
- Cara’s Cleaning LLC facilitates services between clients and independent Cleaners and is not directly liable for any damages, losses, or claims resulting from services performed by independent contractors.
- The Cleaner performing the service is solely responsible for any damages or issues that arise during the cleaning.
- All complaints or damage claims should be submitted to Cara’s Cleaning LLC, which will coordinate resolution directly with the Cleaner.
- Our total liability for any claim related to service coordination shall not exceed the total amount paid for that specific booking.
While we carefully screen and partner only with reliable, background-checked Cleaners, Cara’s Cleaning LLC cannot guarantee the performance of independent contractors.
8. SMS Communication and Consent
By providing your phone number and opting in during booking or other interactions with Cara’s Cleaning LLC, you agree that we may send you text (SMS) messages related to your cleaning services, including:
- Appointment confirmations, reminders, and updates
- Service notifications (“On the way,” “Completed,” etc.)
- Customer support responses
- Occasional service follow-ups, satisfaction requests, or special offers
We send these messages to help you manage your services easily and stay informed.
Promotional or marketing messages will only be sent with your explicit consent, and you may opt out at any time.
Opt-In and Opt-Out
- By submitting your phone number when booking, requesting a quote, or contacting us, you are opting in to receive transactional SMS messages.
- You may also choose to receive occasional marketing or promotional texts by opting in at checkout or when prompted.
- You can opt out of any SMS communication at any time by replying STOP to any message.
- After opting out, you may receive one final message confirming your request has been processed.
Message and Data Rates
Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile carrier and plan. Message frequency varies based on your interaction with our services.
Third-Party Messaging Providers
We may use secure, reputable third-party platforms to send text communications.
Your information is never sold, rented, or shared with outside parties for marketing purposes.
